Thanks again for being part of our awesome Volunteer Team, we're super excited to work with you all, and we're all going to have a grand time at the upcoming festival!

In order to ensure the event runs smoothly, we kindly ask that all volunteer team members complete this Volunteer Agreement as commitment to the event and their fellow team members. 

HOW IT WORKS

All Volunteer Team members provide their credit card details via the verification payment button below. Please ensure you read through the agreement carefully and thoroughly before processing your deposit.

The Hills Are Alive Group will process a $1.00AUD transaction from this card to ensure it works and securely store your credit card details until after the event. If you turn up to your shift at the event, your credit card details are deleted, and your $1.00AUD fee is refunded :)

As part of NYE On The Hill, we also offer a volunteer shirt which you get to keep after the event as a memento! If you would like to receive a shirt during the event, please process a $12.00AUD deposit below, which will cover the cost of your shirt and your volunteer agreement holding deposit, but please note that this $12.00AUD payment will not be refunded.

You only need to select one payment option!

If you don't turn up to your shifts, or breach one or more of the conditions of the agreement, the price of a standard ticket ($351.68 AUD) plus a $100.00AUD "admin/hassle to find someone else" fee will be charged to your card.

VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT

By clicking the below 'Pay Now' button and completing the verification fee payment process I am confirming I am willing to work as a volunteer at NEW YEARS EVE ON THE HILL 2024. I understand that I will be working for approximately 10 hours (2 x 5 hour shift/s) in total over the course of the event. 

I understand, acknowledge and declare: 

a) That I have volunteered to provide services in exchange for one ticket giving me admission into NEW YEARS EVE ON THE HILL 2024. 

b) That if I

- knowingly fail to perform the services required for the period specified and/or

- am involved in theft, loitering, assault, verbal abuse, trespassing or any other criminal activity and/or

-withdraw from volunteering with no contact or within 48 hours of the event without a valid reason and/or

- do not arrive for my allocated shift on time and in an acceptable, sober and ready to work state 

I will forfeit my ticket for entry into NEW YEARS EVE ON THE HILL 2024 and be charged the price of the ticket ($351.68 AUD) to my nominated credit card along with a $100.00AUD administration fee. 

c) That I am not in the employment of the venue, The Hills Are Alive Group, or the artists performing. 

d) That a $1.00AUD OR A $10.00AUD verification fee will be deducted from my nominated credit card, and that my credit card details will be securely stored until I have completed my volunteer commitment. If I fail to fulfil my volunteer commitments the ticket price of $351.68 AUD plus a $100.00AUD admin fee will be deducted from my credit card. 

e) That as a volunteer at NEW YEARS EVE ON THE HILL 2024 I agree to abide by all Occupational Health and Safety standards and follow all health and safety instructions provided by any supervisor/manager or the safety officer, and will appropriately use any PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) that is provided to me. This includes all emergency evacuation procedures. 

By following this verification process, you acknowledge that you have both applied for and been accepted to volunteer at NEW YEARS EVE ON THE HILL 2024. Any payments received without approval will not be valid in securing a position.
