TICKET FAQ

Below are the answers to our most frequently asked questions regarding ticketing. Please ensure you read through all of the information below, to see if this resolves your issue.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY TICKET?

Your ticket provides access to the festival from 12pm on Sunday the 30th December 2018 to close at 5pm on Tuesday the 1st January 2019 and includes camping, BYO alcohol, four licensed bars, over 30 amazing bands and performers, field games, street cart food, chill out areas, late night DJ's, Mr Mooyagi's Cowraoke, Dr. Pong, the Tiny Dancer, The Mystery Bus, art installations, morning yoga, good people (actually, great people) and much more.

WILL TICKETS BE AVAILABLE ON THE GATE?

No. The event has sold out well in advance every year, so we advise to prepare and purchase your ticket as early as possible.

DO YOU SELL DAY TICKETS?

No, all tickets are for the whole event.

DOES MY NAME HAVE TO BE ON MY TICKET?

Yes.

All THAA group events require correct credentials on tickets sold through our official ticketing partner Eventbrite in conjunction with our official reale partner TIXEL in order for us to avoid ticket fraud, and run a safe event by knowing exactly who we have on our event sites at all times in case of an emergency. See above for how to ensure the name on the ticket is correct.

I PAID FOR A TICKET BUT CAN'T FIND MY CONFIRMATION - WHAT DO I DO?

You may not have entered the correct email address when purchasing your ticket. Please email  thefarmer@thehillsarealive.com.au with your full name and proof of purchase (screenshot of bank statement) so that they can re-issue your ticket to the correct email address.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MANY TICKETS I CAN BUY?

Yes. Early Birds and General release tickets are limited to 5 per person - this is to ensure the fairest access to these earlier releases of lower priced tickets.

DO I NEED TO BUY A CAR PASS?

Yes, every car wishing to enter the carpark MUST have a valid carpass. Carpasses will be scanned when entering. Should you arrive on-site without a valid car pass as significantly higher fee will be charged to entry the site.

The reason for the carpass is to minimise the number of cars attending the event and to have a positive effect on traffic and the environment (farm). All profits from the car passes will go to Environmental initiatives on the event site and in the local area.  For all vehicles arriving with 3 or more peeps the full car pass fee will go to the local environmental initiative.

IMPORTANT: If you are found to be parking on the side of the road with in the vicinity of the event site police will be notified and your car will be towed and impounded.

PLEASE NOTE: car passes can also be resold through TIXEL.

I DON'T WANT TO GO ANYMORE, CAN I GET A REFUND?

Under the terms and conditions of sale of our tickets we do not offer refunds for change of mind or circumstances. If you wish to sell your ticket you must use our only official resale partner TIXEL - link to resale page is here www.tixel.com.au/NYE-on-the-hill-18-19

HOW DO I BUY OR SELL AN EXISTING FESTIVAL TICKET?

To reduce ticket scalping & scamming, we have partnered with Tixel as our exclusive ticket resale partner. Tixel validates the authenticity of festival e-tickets, buyers/sellers and provides secure methods for payment. You can list your tickets if you are no-longer able to attend or join a waitlist if you are looking to purchase tickets once the event has sold out. All tickets can only be resold for the price they were purchased for or less plus booking fees. For all who purchased their festival ticket online via Eventbrite, this is the only channel through which you can resell your ticket.

An administration fee will be charged to facilitate the secure resale facility.

NAMES ON TICKETS

THAA Group require all names on tickets to match your ID. Security & Ticketing staff will be checking this on the day.

You cannot simply transfer your name on a ticket to a friend. This must be done through Tixel. If you have already found a buyer or friend for the ticket, you can select the 'private listing' option on the sale confirmation page during the listing process on the Tixel website. You can then send the unique link to the private listing to your buyer/friend.

For all ticket resale please visit www.tixel.com.au/NYE-on-the-hill-18-19

THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO ENSURE YOUR TICKET IS VALID ON THE DAY.

Please do not run the risk of transferring money to a seller via bank transfer, as there is no way to guarantee you will receive a ticket.

NOTE: Names on Vehicle Passes are not required as long as the pass scans as valid when entering the carpark, otherwise you will be charged to enter

For any questions regarding the resale of tickets through Tixel please contact customer support via support@tixel.io
